El-Raqs are Angela White, Karen Rastall and Kathie Hammond. We've been
dancing together for some time now, brought together by Bayda's classes.
We're all hooked on Middle Eastern Dance, and didn't want to lose contact with
everyone else that we've met through dance when Bayda left Lincoln.
We are trying to be a centre for people to contact and be contacted about
activities all around the county and now have an extensive network of new
dancing friends from Portsmouth to Edinburgh.
From the beginning, we set out to be a not-for-profit group, and laid down our
articles accordingly. Any profit we make will be ploughed back in to
subsidize future events or make them bigger and better!
